In order to better help children learn about health, on the afternoon of 23rd February, the west campus of our school held a special lecture on health education, during which the 7th grade students gathered in the lecture hall on the first floor to listen to the health education lecture shared by Head Nurse Pan, Doctor Cheng of Stomatology Department and Head Nurse Qi of Ophthalmology Department of Anqing Second People's Hospital. Specifically, the lecture was expounded from four aspects as follows: ‘Popularization of Norovirus pandemic prevention’, ‘oral health promotion of middle school students’, ‘eye protection, prevention of myopia’ and ‘mental adjustment after the pandemic’. Additionally, the medical staff explained the knowledge of health education with gentle and kind language, which let the children know themselves scientifically and grasp the health knowledge of adolescence in a relaxed atmosphere.
On the whole, this health education lecture not only enhanced students' awareness of prevention, but also let them learn how to prevent infectious diseases correctly and effectively, so that the campus safety and health level has been further improved.
